LOOKING AHEAD:

Hamilton, 17-1-3-0 on the road since Nov. 27, can clinch its first-ever division title tonight with a victory in Cleveland (7:05 ET). AHL scoring leader Jason Ward has six goals in the last five games for the Bulldogs, and Michael Ryder has recorded 30 points (17g, 13a) in 22 games since captain Benoit Gratton was lost to injury. Hamilton has won all five meetings this season with Cleveland, outscoring the Barons, 32-9.

Binghamton visits Wilkes-Barre tonight (7:05 ET) for the teams' seventh meeting of the season. The Senators are six points out of first place in the East Division with three games in hand on Bridgeport, while the Pens find themselves eighth in the Western Conference, six points out of fourth. Former Penguin Dennis Bonvie needs one penalty to surpass Springfield's Rob Murray as the AHL's all-time penalty minute leader.

On a season-high four-game winless slide, Manchester continues its 10-game road trip in Norfolk tonight (7:15 ET), against an Admirals team with one win in its last seven (1-2-3-1). Eric Healey has 15 goals and one assist in his last 16 contests for the Monarchs, who have scored four goals during their 0-3-1-0 skid. Norfolk defenseman Marty Wilford, whose double-overtime goal for Hartford eliminated the Monarchs from last year's playoffs, has 11 points in his last 10 games.

After playing 15 of its last 18 games on the road, Chicago hosts Grand Rapids tonight (7:00 CT, 8:00 ET) in a Western Conference showdown. While the Griffins are cruising toward their second consecutive division title, the Wolves are battling for positioning as they prepare to defend their Calder Cup crown. The rivals met 17 times a year ago, including a five-game conference quarterfinal playoff series, and their first five meetings this season ended in three one-goal games and two ties. Jason Williams, both an AHL All-Star and a Stanley Cup champion in 2002, has scored 14 goals in his last 12 games for Grand Rapids.
