'National Sports 70's Night' at the Dog Pound Friday

The Hamilton Bulldogs will be having their first ever 'National Sports 70's Night' at Copps Coliseum on Friday, February 28th when they host the Philadelphia Phantoms at Copps Coliseum for a 7:00 p.m. start.

Bulldogs fans will have a chance to take a step back in time, as the night will feature an assortment of contests including best 'mullet', best '70's' costume and best Hanson Brother Look a Like, from the popular hockey movie 'Slapshot'. Fans are also encouraged to bring their 70's memorabilia as there will be a re-creation of the 70's television show 'Let's Make A Deal' in the stands.

All 70's music will be played, video tributes to 'Slapshot' will be made and 70's commericials will be shown on the scoreboard.

Steve Shutt, a Hockey Hall of Famer and a winner of five Stanley Cups with Montreal Canadiens in the 1970's, will be on hand to drop the puck prior to the game.
