THEY SAID IT
"I don't think the first period goaltending gave us any help at all. I didn't mind our first period and obviously it was 3-0 but we were playing well. We had two goals that shouldn't have went in the net in the WHL. We were fighting an uphill battle the whole game. We try to not evaluate the result all the time, we're in a building stage getting young guys ice time, growing guys and developing. 3-0 [after one] doesn't look good to a fan but I liked the way we were playing in the first period. Couple of unlucky bounces just kept biting us all game." - Regina Pats Head Coach Brad Herauf
FINAL SCORE: Walleye 7, Pats 1
