
Gustafson Signs with the Golden Knights

KENT, Wash. - Seattle Thunderbirds captain Jordan Gustafson has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Vegas Golden Knights. Gustafson was selected by Vegas in the third round, 79th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
"We couldn't be any happier for Gus," said Thunderbirds Head Coach Matt O'Dette. "It is a testament to his work ethic, perseverance, and dedication. He possesses all the qualities needed to be a successful professional hockey player. We look forward to watching him suit up for the Golden Knights one day."

The Seattle Thunderbirds are now two-time Ed Chynoweth Cup Champions after their victory over the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL Championship Series last May. The Seattle Thunderbirds play in the 22 team Western Hockey League. The WHL is the premier league for developing talent for the National Hockey League.
