Palmieri Assigned to Norfolk on Conditioning Loan

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has assigned winger Kyle Palmieri to their primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL), the Norfolk Admirals.

Palmieri, 23, returns to Norfolk after spending the 2012-13 season between the Admirals and Ducks. Palmieri logged 33 AHL contests with Norfolk scoring 13 goals and 25 points, and played in 42 games in the NHL contributing 10 markers and 21 total points to Anaheim. Last year, the Smithtown, New York native participated in 71 games and put up 14 goals and 31 points. He has 141 career NHL contests to his name and 60 points (29g,31a). Anaheim selected him in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft using the 26th overall pick.
