BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators took the first of a back-to-back matchup in Norfolk with a 5-2 victory over its host Admirals. Despite trailing 2-1 beginning the second period, the B-Sens rallied with four unanswered goals to grab its fifth victory of the season.

Norfolk opened the scoring 6:11 into the first off an unassisted marker from David Pacan. Binghamton evened the score 1-1 off Max McCormick's first professional goal with less than six minutes remaining in the opening period. With just over a minute remaining in the first, Louis Leblanc notched his third goal of the season to give the Admirals a 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission.

Danny New scored the lone goal of the middle frame at 13:52 off a feed from Patrick Mullen to even the score 2-2 heading into the final period. Scott Greenham, who made his second start of the year, stopped all of Norfolk's 13 second period shots while the Admirals' Igor Bobkov turned aside 10 of 11.

Alex Guptill scored the game-winning tally just 2:08 into the final period after he took a centering feed from Camper and beat Bobkov for his third goal of the season. McCormick added his second marker of the game just past the midway point of the third moving the score to 4-2 before Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored his fourth tally of the season on an Admirals' empty net with 1:36 remaining in regulation to push the final to 5-2.

McCormick, who missed the previous eight games due to an injury, led the B-Sens offensively with two goals and an assist. Greenham earned his second victory stopping 35 of 37 shots faced while Bobkov was dealt the loss allowing four goals on 30 shots faced.

The B-Sens and Admirals square off again tomorrow night in a 7:15p.m. faceoff in Norfolk. Fans can tune to Oldies 96.9FM to hear the live call 20 minutes prior to puck drop.
