Jon Mirasty Returns to Syracuse for the Frozen Dome Classic

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Former Syracuse Crunch forward Jon Mirasty will be a special guest when the Syracuse Crunch host the Utica Comets at the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The beloved enforcer will sign autographs in the Carrier Dome back-ice area and make an appearance at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse pregame party. The pregame party, which is open to the public from 3 to 6 p.m., will lead up to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic's main event, Crunch vs. Comets at 7 p.m. The Crowne Plaza pregame event will include $4 Molson Canadian and Miller Lite pitchers paired with bowls of chili, hot dogs and hot chocolate. The Crowne Plaza Syracuse will feature a dome hockey table in the lobby and an ice bar outside.

Mirasty appeared in 182 games with the Crunch over the course of four seasons with the team from 2007 to 2011. Mirasty contributed one goal and six assists during his time with the Crunch. Mirasty was best known for his fights, totaling 751 penalty minutes with the Crunch, third most in franchise history.

Tickets to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic are on sale now and range in price from $20 to $50. Discount ticket prices are available for groups of 15 or more people.
