TUCSON, AZ - Daniel Robertson drilled a two run fifth inning double to vault the Tucson Padres to a 6-2 win over the visiting New Orleans Zephyrs at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Z's and Padres were tied at one when Tucson managed a lead-off walk and then a Zephyrs throwing error put a pair of runners on base. Robertson doubled just fair inside the first base line that scored the go-ahead runs.

Tucson starter Keyvius Sampson pitched six innings allowed one run on three hits and struck-out six hitters earning his first win for the Padres. Sam Dyson took the loss pitching five and two thirds innings allowing three runs, two earned on four hits.

Rob Brantly and Jordan Brown each picked up a pair of hits for the Zephyrs.

The Z's have dropped two in a row and fall to 60-61 on the season.
