The P-Bruins split their two games last weekend beating the Hartford Wolf Pack at home on Friday 3-2 in a shootout, while falling to the Binghamton Senators 4-3 on Saturday. Center Nathan Robinson picked up right where he left off the previous weekend. After being named CCM/Vector Player of the Week for the week ending December 11, Robinson followed up his performance with points in both of last weekend's games. He is currently on a five game point scoring streak and is tied for third on the team in scoring with 18 points (9g, 9a). After spending five games with the Boston Bruins left wing Zdenek Blatny added some offense to the P-Bruins lineup tallying three points this weekend to pace the club. Blatny had an assist on the game-tying goal Friday night and scored twice in Saturday's game. Left wing Eric Healey continues to lead the P-Bruins in scoring after recording two points Saturday, giving him 28 points (12g, 16a) on the season. He is currently tied for 17th in the league in scoring. Rookie Tyler Redenbach remains second on the team in scoring despite being kept off the board last weekend with 22 points (9g, 13a).

In that span he has seen his GAA drop to 2.36, which is ninth best in the league, with a save percentage of 92.1, which is eighth best in the league. The P-Bruins defensive unit has still not allowed more than four goals in a game this season. The P-Bruins have allowed on average just 2.64 goals per game, which ranks fourth in the league. Providence has also held opponents to only 28.36 shots per game, which ranks fifth in the league.
