Bulldogs claim Lawson off waivers

The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that they have claimed forward Lucas Lawson off waivers. Lawson was placed on waivers by the Syracuse Crunch on Friday, December 15.
The 26-year-old native of Braeside, Ontario, played in 24 games this season with JyP HT Jyvaskyla of Finland, posting 10 points (one goal, nine assists) and 20 penalty minutes. He played last season for the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), recording 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) and 32 penalty minutes in 51 games.
Hamilton's next action will take place on Thursday, December 22, when they travel to Cleveland to face the Barons. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 23, when the Rochester Americans visit Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
