
Orlando Signs Kavanagh, Lampman Promoted to AHL

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that the Solar Bears have agreed to terms with D Mike Kavanagh while D Bryce Lampman has been loaned to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.
Kavanagh (6'2", 215 lbs.) has played in 28 games with the Fayetteville FireAntz of the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) this season, scoring one goal and adding 12 assists for 13 points along with 27 penalty minutes (PIM). The first year pro has spent the last four seasons with SUNY-Plattsburgh and Curry College (NCAA-DIII), playing in 85 games and picking up 42 points (15 goals, 27 assists).
Lampman has played in 21 games with the Solar Bears, collecting three goals and nine assists for 12 points. The veteran defenseman has skated in 386 AHL games, picking up 117 points on 33 goals and 84 assists. He has also seen action in 10 NHL contests.
