
K-Wings to Work at McDonald's

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, three-time defending North Division Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks, and American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves announce members of the team will be promoting, next week's 5th Annual McDonald's Golden Ice Game, by working breakfast, lunch and dinner at area McDonald's locations this Tuesday, January 15th.
Forwards Dustin Cloutier, Tyler Shelast and Nick Sirota will be working the breakfast shift from 8-9 a.m. at McDonald's located at 4310 Stadium Drive.
During lunch, from 1-2 p.m., forwards Aaron Clarke, Kory Karlander and goaltender Joel Martin will be at 5432 Portage Road (across from the airport).
The K-Wings night shift will feature forward Steven Anthony, along with defensemen Sam Ftorek and Elgin Reid, who will be at 5394 West Main Street from 6-7 p.m.
Kalamazoo will host the 5th Annual Golden Ice Game next Saturday, January 19th, with a 7:30 p.m. encounter versus the Fort Wayne Komets.
While the K-Wings already wear McDonald's themed warm-up jerseys during the entire season, the team will also don a special McDonald's themed jersey for the night. Following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc. (RMHC =C2é) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. RMHC fulfills its mission by creating innovative, effective programs that address targeted needs, and by supporting these programs and other activities conducted by its local chapters worldwide. RMHC also awards grants to other nonprofit children's organizations that positively impact the health and well being of children around the world.
