
Bulls Edged by Steelheads, 2-1

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls (13-18-1-5) were defeated by the Idaho Steelheads (23-7-1-4), 2-1, Thursday night at the Cow Palace. Peter Sivak scored the only goal for the Bulls, and Taylor Nelson made 29 saves.
Sivak gave the Bulls a 1-0 lead with 1:15 remaining in the first period. Sivak's quick shot from the face-off circle beat goaltender Tyler Beskorowany. Sivak's 14th goal of the season was assisted by Alex Tuckerman and Jordan Morrison.
Another late-period goal tied the game with 1:33 remaining in the second period. David de Kastrozza found the equalizer for his ninth goal of the season. Sam Carrick and Ian Watters picked up the assists. With 16 seconds remaining in the period Scott Langdon picked up a five minute match penalty for illegal contact to the head. Langdon was ejected from the game.
Idaho took a 2-1 lead on Tristan King's 13th goal of the season. King's goal was assisted by Austin Fyten and William Lacasse at 6:36 of the third period. The Bulls pulled Nelson at the end of the game in search of the game-tying goal but could not beat Beskorowany.
