Finucci Returns to Wranglers
January 11, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that forward Carlo Finucci has agreed to terms with the team and will join the lineup in time for two road games against the Utah Grizzlies starting tonight.
Finucci ("Fin-new-chee"), 25, opened the season with the Wranglers after being a late addition to the team in 2011-12. Before returning to Las Vegas, the 5-foot-9, 190-pound forward spent time with the ECHL's Reading Royals and Evansville Iceman, collecting a goal in seven games with the latter. A native of Burnaby, British Columbia, Finucci spent four years (2008-12) at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, recording 18 goals and 53 points in 122 games with the Nanooks.
The Wranglers play three games on the road before returning on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 7:05 p.m. to face the Colorado Eagles. For that game, the team will wear specialty 10th "FANniversary" jerseys featuring photos of 10-year season ticket holders, and celebrate the milestone throughout the game. The jerseys, presented by Diamondback Land Surveying, will be auctioned during the game on the Orleans Arena concourse and proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC.
Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and "buy one, get one free" Chuck-A-Puck vouchers. Take advantage of the best deals by calling the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK . The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
