Norfolk releases McKenna

NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced they have released goaltender Mike McKenna from professional tryout (PTO). McKenna's release comes on the heels of Chicago re-assigning goaltender Adam Munro to Norfolk.

McKenna appeared in seven games for the Admirals, posting a 4-2-1 record with a 3.86 GAA and a .883 spct. He made his AHL debut at Philadelphia on January 22nd, making 39 saves and stopping four of five shootout attempts to earn his first AHL career victory. McKenna was originally signed to a PTO out of Las Vegas of the ECHL.
