The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have assigned goaltender Adam Munro to the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL.

Munro had been recalled by the Blackhawks from Norfolk on December 29th. He appeared in 10 games posting a record of 3-5-2 with 1 shutout and a 2.99 goals against average. He recorded the Blackhawks' first shutout of the season when he blanked the Calgary Flames 2-0 on January 26th.
