Norfolk Reassigns Angel To Phoenix

BILOXI, MS - The Norfolk Admirals have reassigned forward Brett Angel from the Mississippi Sea Wolves to the Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL.

Angel, a 6-6, 240-pound forward, had appeared in 18 games with Norfolk going scoreless with 43 penalty minutes. The Admirals signed Angel to an American Hockey League Standard Player's Contract on October 3. In 16 games with Mississippi, Angel, who was drafted in the 3rd round (72nd overall) by the Nashville Predators in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, scored one goal and one assist and accrued 55 penalty minutes.

NOTE: Fans attending the games on Thursday and Saturday should allow extra time to arrive at the arena and park due to construction on U.S. 90 in Biloxi.
