Duluth, GA - Goaltender Adam Morrison earned a second consecutive shutout making 17 saves and forwards Andrew Rowe and Braden Pimm each scored two goals and an assist as the South Carolina Stingrays (23-18-1-6) blanked the Gwinnett Gladiators (16-28-2-1) 5-0 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center Saturday night. The win extends the Stingrays' winning streak to five contests.

After a scoreless first period, the Stingrays lit the lamp three times in under three minutes in the middle stanza to take a 3-0 lead into the second intermission. Rowe started the scoring unassisted at 11:47 sneaking a shot under the blocker of Gladiators goaltender Kent Patterson (L, 25 saves on 30). Moments later, Pimm caught a pass from Rowe and ripped it past Patterson's blocker at 14:05. Forward Derek DeBlois added the second assist. Less than a minute later, Rowe found the back of the net again with help from Pimm and DeBlois at 14:38.

The Stingrays carried the scoring into the third period as Pimm buried a power-play goal 27 seconds in from DeBlois and defenseman Frankie Simonelli. Forward Tim Spencer pushed his personal point streak to five games at 9:13 lifting a shot over the shoulder of Patterson.
