Quad City Mallards News Release

TULSA, OK - Mario Lamoureux scored and added and assist, Mike Monfredo piled up three assists and Evan Mosher made 30 saves as the Quad City Mallards (24-18-6) defeated the host Tulsa Oilers (22-23-4) 3-2 Saturd ay night. With the win the Mallards held on to second place in the ECHL's Central Division.

The Mallards, who at one point led 3-0, survived a late scare after Nathan Lutz's 6-on-3 goal brought the Oilers back within one with 46 seconds left in the third period. Jeff Lee doubled the Mallard lead by firing the puck into the open Tulsa net at 1:01 of the second period. At 7:28 of the second Matt Duffy converted a Mallard two-man advantage with a one timer from the high slot.
