Moose Recall McGinnis from Kalamazoo

The Manitoba Moose announced today that they have recalled defencemen Ryan McGinnis from the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.

McGinnis, 23, was assigned to Kalamazoo on Nov. 25/10 after playing eight games with the Moose. Since being assigned, the native of Flint, MI has played 30 games with Kalamazoo, recording 21 points (5g, 16a) and 23 penalty minutes. Overall, McGinnis has appeared in 16 games with the Moose over the last two seasons, where he has collected an assist and 12 penalty minutes. In 60 career AHL games with Manitoba, Norfolk, and Albany, McGinnis has nine assists and 44 penalty minutes.

McGinnis was originally drafted by Los Angeles in the sixth round, 184th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
