B-Sens Recall Defenseman Brennan Turner from Gwinnett

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled defenseman Brennan Turner from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

Turner, 24, began the season with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL, before being reassigned to Gwinnett on Jan. 25. He has appeared in 41 total ECHL games this season, recording one goal, 12 assists and adding 100 penalty minutes.

Turner spent the 2009-10 season in Elmira. In 62 games with the Jackals, Turner recorded 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) and amassed 144 penalty minutes. He led the team in plus-minus with a plus-33, setting a new Jackals franchise record for plus-minus.

The Winnipeg, Man. native has appeared in seven career American Hockey League games, all with the Rockford IceHogs, recording one assist and amassing 19 penalty minutes.

The Binghamton Senators return to action tonight as they travel to Rochester to face the Amerks. Game time is 7:35 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
