ELMIRA, N.Y. - Two goals from Mark Anthoine and Matt Harlow, along with 42 saves by Doug Carr, fueled the Manchester Monarchs past the Elmira Jackals, 4-1, Saturday night at First Arena.

The Monarchs (22-12-0-3) outscored the Jackals (20-15-0-0) 10-2 in the weekend two-game series.

The Monarchs regained the lead at 6:05 when Mark Anthoine scored his 1st goal with the Monarchs. Anthoine took a pass from Harlow in the high slot and snapped a shot over the glove of Motte to make the game, 2-1.

Harlow capped the scoring, netting his second of the night with the Elmira net empty. Anthoine had a chance for a hat-trick with the puck on his stick in Elmira's crease, but decided to pass to a covered Boivin, but Harlow was there to clean things up and put the game on ice.

The Monarchs are back on the ice Saturday, Jan. 16 (7 p.m.), when they host the Norfolk Admirals on L.A. Kings Night. The Monarchs will wear special L.A. Kings inspired jerseys, and the first 4,000 fans through the doors will receive a commemorative poster.
