
Monarchs Assign Three To Reading

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have assigned right wing James Hiebert, center Greg Hogeboom and left wing Ned Lukacevic to the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.
Hiebert, 24, appeared in six games with the Monarchs and collected 16 penalty minutes. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound native of Hay River, Northwest Territories, has played in eight games with the Royals thus far this season and has collected eight points (4-4=8) and 25 penalty minutes. In 59 games with the Central Hockey League's Laredo Bucks during the 2005-06 season, Hiebert collected 75 points (23-52=75) and 275 penalty minutes. He spent a total of three seasons (2003-06) with Laredo earning 176 points (57-119=176) and 703 penalty minutes in 178 games.
Hogeboom, 24, played in three Monarchs games and recorded one point, an assist, and two penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 190-pound native of Etobicoke, Ontario, has 13 points (5-8=13) and two penalty minutes in 10 games with the Royals this season. In 62 games with Manchester since the 2003-04 season, Hogeboom has 22 points (10-12=22) and 30 penalty minutes.
Lukacevic, 20, has one goal and nine penalty minutes in 12 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot, 200-pound native of Podgorica, Serbia, scored one goal in seven playoff games with Manchester during the 2006 Calder Cup Atlantic Division Semifinals. Prior to joining the Monarchs last season, Lukacevic played in 63 games with the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League and collected 53 points (25-28=53) and 71 penalty minutes.
