McKenzie returns to Jackals

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that the Ottawa Senators (NHL) have reassigned right wing Jim McKenzie from Binghamton (AHL) to the Jackals. McKenzie appeared in 10 games with Elmira this season with one goal and an assist with 7 PIM and a -2 rating before being reassigned to Binghamton November 11th. He appeared in just one game with the AHL Senators this year with no points, 2 PIM and a -1 rating.

Elmira returns to First Arena ice this evening in hopes of extending their current four-game winning streak that has lifted them into a share of first place in the North Division. The Jackals and Reading Royals battle in a 7:35 p.m. face-off on Jackals Christmas CD Giveaway Night. The weekend wraps up with the Columbia Inferno invading Elmira Sunday at 4:05 p.m. in the only meeting of the year between the clubs that features a post-game skate with the Jackals.
