ROSTER UPDATE:
Josh Sciba was activated from the 7-day IR on Nov. 24. Evan Kotsopoulos was placed on the 3-day IR on Nov. 24 and will be eligible to return on Nov. 27, while Spencer Carbery was transferred from the 3-day IR to the 7-day IR on Nov. 24 and will be eligible to return on Nov. 25. Steven Later remains on the 30-day IR and will be eligible to return on Dec. 14. Mike Hofstrand also remains on the 30-day IR, but is eligible to return.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Condors and RoadRunners are meeting for the second time this season. The Condors won the first match-up in a high-scoring affair, 6-5, in Phoenix on Oct. 26. Brett Lutes netted a hat trick for the Condors in Phoenix, and was supported by goals from Spencer Carbery, Tim Konsorada and Sean Venedam. Bakersfield is 11-2-1 all-time against the RoadRunners. The two teams are set to meet six more times during the regular season, three more at The Nest and three more at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES:
Tonight's game is the annual Teddy Bear Toss night at The Nest, presented by KGET-TV 17, KERN 1410 AM & Wells Fargo Bank. All fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear, or other stuffed animal, to be thrown onto the ice when the Condors score. The teddy bears will be collected and donated to less-fortunate children through the United Way of Kern County.
It will also be a Big Buddies Night tonight, when underprivileged children will be given the opportunity to attend a Condors game for free thanks to local organizations.
The first 5,000 fans in attendance tonight will also receive a Glow Cheer Shaker.
TICKETS:
Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets, mini plans and group outings are available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324- PUCK (7825).
