Inferno shutout Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. - Tyler Doig scored two goals and Inferno goaltender Todd Ford recorded his first shutout of the season as they beat the Trenton Devils 3-0.

Doig found the back of the net as he recorded his first goal of this season at 13:50 of the first period with help from Owen Fussey and Bryan Rodney. At 15:17 of the second period, Doig scored his second of the night with help from Julian Brouillette and Mac Faulkner to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead.

Jeff Miles added the insurance goal at 14:10 of the third period as he received passes from Doig and Todd Perry.

Todd Ford earned the shutout stopping 37 shots on goal and improving his record to 5-3-1.

The Inferno will travel to Elmira, New York to face the Jackals at 4pm on Sunday, November 25. This will end their four game road trip facing the North Division.
