Lascek's Three Points, Munce's 41 Saves Pace Mississippi's Effort in Second Straight Win

BILOXI, MS - Three points from Stan Lascek paced the Mississippi Sea Wolves to a 3-1 win over the Augusta Lynx at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on Saturday evening.

The Sea Wolves drew first blood when Stan Lascek threw a home-run pass to Ryan Menei, who broke in alone on Augusta goaltender J.P. Levasseur and put the puck by him for a 1-0 lead at the 1:58 mark of the first period. Fifteen seconds later, Lascek found a loose puck and poked it past Levasseur for a 2-0 lead.

Torry Gajda staked the Sea Wolves to a 3-0 lead when he took a pass from Lascek in the low slot and fired it past Levasseur 1:05 into the second frame.

Augusta got on the board when Chase Watson tipped a shot past Ryan Munce at 14:24 of the second period.

Mississippi was 0-for-5 on the man advantage, and Ryan Munce made 41 saves to earn the win for the second straight evening.
