Mavericks Unveil Star Wars Night Jersey Design

Independence, MO (December 19, 2014) -- The Missouri Mavericks will be wearing specialty "Star Wars" themed jerseys for their second annual "Star Wars Night" at Independence Events Center for their Friday night matchup against the visiting Brampton Beast.

All of the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off in a live auction in sections 101 & 102 of IEC directly following the end of the game. Proceeds from the jersey auction will go to Community Services League (CSL).

The Missouri Mavericks "Star Wars Night" will be complete with characters from the series roaming the concourse before the game, and Star Wars themed promotions and contest throughout the night! Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character and participate in the costume contest or even the "wookiee growl" contest!

Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM (CST) at Independence Events Center. Tickets are still available in-person at the box office and online at TicketMaster.com
