Martin Promoted to White Sox on Friday

(NASHVILLE, TN) - RHP Davis Martin was recalled by the Chicago White Sox today. With the White Sox this season, Martin is 1-3 with a 4.67 ERA in six games (three starts) over 27.0 innings pitched (20 strikeouts). This is his sixth promotion to the White Sox this season.
This season with the Charlotte Knights, Martin, 25, has made eight starts and is 3-3 with a 4.06 ERA over 37.2 innings pitched (45 strikeouts). He began the 2022 season with Double-A Birmingham and went 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in five starts with the Barons (24.0 IP).
So far this season, a total of 12 different players have been promoted to Chicago from Charlotte.
