Yadier Molina Rehab Assignment Updated

MEMPHIS, TN - The St. Louis Cardinals have updated catcher Yadier Molina's rehab assignment, he is now scheduled to play Saturday and Sunday at AutoZone Park for the Memphis Redbirds.

Molina made his first rehab appearance on Thursday evening as the designated hitter for Memphis, going 0-for-3. He reached base on two fielding errors and a hit-by-pitch before exiting the game in the seventh inning.

Here is what's in store for the weekend homestand:

Friday, July 29 - Redbirds vs Tides - 7:05 PM CDT

* The first 1,000 fans will receive a Memphis Blues t-shirt giveaway, presented by DeSoto Honda Powerhouse. The Redbirds will play as the Memphis Blues and sport specialty jerseys that honor the Blues franchise that played from 1968-1976 at Tim McCarver Stadium.

* Specialty ticket includes a 2006 replica World Series trophy.

Saturday, July 30 - Redbirds vs Tides - 6:35 PM CDT

* $17 field box tickets with a $10 concessions credit.

* Specialty ticket includes a 2006 replica World Series trophy.

* Terminix Fireworks Show following the game! Click here for tickets.

* The Hartford and the Memphis Redbirds are teaming up to celebrate 75 years of fire safety education through Junior Fire Marshal Night presented by The Hartford. The first 1,500 children 12-and-under will receive a free Junior Fire Marshal helmet.

Sunday, July 31 - Redbirds vs Tides - 2:05 PM CDT

* $4 dugout and field box tickets.

* Specialty ticket includes a 2006 replica World Series trophy.

* Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday, where all kids 12-and-under in attendance will receive a free ice cream sandwich, courtesy of Prairie Farms. Kids will also get a chance to run the bases after the game!
