Marlies Recall Max Taylor From Reading

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that forward Max Taylor has been recalled from their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals.

Taylor, 25, appeared in four games with the Royals collecting five points (five goals). On Friday, December 12 he scored a hat-trick in Reading's 3-2 win over Elmira. The Ottawa, Ontario native played in 13 games last season with the Marlies collecting five points (two goals, three assists) and 28 penalty minutes.

The Marlies return to action on Wednesday night at Ricoh Coliseum against the Lake Erie Monsters - AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche - at 7:00 pm. Toronto hits the road for a three-game road trip this upcoming weekend against the Atlantic Division. The road-trip begins with a Friday night contest against the Providence Bruins - AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins - at 7:05 p.m. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
