Falcons Partner With Western MA Regional Library System

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today a special partnership with the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System.

Fans attending the Falcons' home game on Saturday, January 24, 2009 will be encouraged to donate a new or lightly used children's hardcover book at the game and in return receive a voucher good for a buy one get one free ticket offer for either the Falcons' home game on February 20 or 21 at the MassMutual Center.

The Falcons will be hosting the Providence Bruins on January 24 with the game starting at 7 pm. Boston Red Sox mascot "Wally The Green Monster" will be in attendance and fans interested in purchasing tickets to this game can do so through participating public library in Western MA at a discounted rate of $10 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System.

The Western Massachusetts Regional Library System (WMRLS), a State-supported collaborative, provides leadership and services to foster cooperation, communication, and sharing among member libraries of all types.
