Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies squared off against the Texas Stars on Saturday afternoon, looking to even the season series between the two clubs. Despite an even shot total, it would be Texas that would capitalize three times to earn the victory. Toronto's lone goal came from Brendan Mikkelson late in the third, while Christopher Gibson made 29 saves in the losing effort.
The Marlies are back in action tomorrow, Sunday February 22, against the Charlotte Checkers. Puck drop is at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
