Springfield Falcons Pink in the Rink Jerseys Available for Auction

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons Pink in the Rink specialty jerseys are available for auction starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 21.
The first jersey will open at 7 p.m., with each of the following jerseys opening at five minute intervals. The auction will last five days, with the final jersey closing on Feb. 26 at 9:20 p.m. The winning bidder will be automatically notified. The jerseys are not autographed and the winners will be responsible for shipping and handling.
The Pink in the Rink specialty jerseys are being auctioned off at www.ebay.com/usr/springfieldfalcons. All Pink in the Rink jerseys are either game-worn or game-issued and start at $250. All funds from the jersey auction will go towards Noble Hospital's breast cancer awareness programs to help local patients going through treatments.
Noble Hospital's Center for Comprehensive Breast Health encompasses aspects of women's health from mammograms and bone-density testing to lumpectomies and cancer treatments. The center features a complimentary-medicine therapy room offering massage, Reiki, and other alternative treatments for those going through cancer treatments and recovery. In a new partnership with the YMCA of Greater Westfield, the center also offers a healthy-living and exercise program.
In addition, Noble Hospital has a partnership with Hartford Hospital to treat early breast cancer quickly with a procedure called accelerated partial breast irradiation, which takes a period of five days instead of many weeks. Money raised at the Falcons fund-raiser may help patients in any of these programs receive the treatment they need but may not be able to afford.
