Marcantuoni Reassigned to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that forward Matia Marcantuoni has been assigned to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) by the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL).

Marcantuoni has appeared in five games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season and recorded one goal and two assists for three points.

In his rookie season last year, Marcantuoni had 10 points (4G-6A) in 11 games while playing for Wheeling.
