San Diego Gulls Add Chris Mueller

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that center Chris Mueller has been reassigned to the Gulls by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate. Additionally, forwards Matt Berry and Bryan Moore, and defenseman Eric Knodel have been reassigned to Utah (ECHL).

Mueller, 29 (3/6/86), was recalled by Anaheim on Nov. 24 but did not appear with the Ducks. The 5-11, 210-pound center has recorded 4-10=14 points in 16 games with the Gulls this season. A veteran of 463 career AHL games, Mueller hit the 300-point mark, with his fourth goal of the season, on Nov. 21 at Milwaukee.

Berry, 23 (8/18/92), has appeared in three games with San Diego this season, going scoreless with two penalty-minutes (PIM). The 5-10, 175-pound winger has appeared in 12 games with Utah this season, leading the team with 7-6=13 points.

Moore, 21 (5/25/94), has collected 0-2=2 points in nine games with the Gulls. The 6-0, 199-pound left wing also has two assists (0-2=2) in two games with Utah.

Knodel, 25 (6/8/90), was scoreless in his only game with San Diego on Nov. 21 at Milwaukee. The 6-6, 225-pound defenseman has collected four assists (0-4=4) in 10 games with Utah.
