Mallards Set to Host Series Finale against Booyah
June 13, 2021 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Madison Mallards News Release
The Madison Mallards (6-7) are at the Duck Pond at Warner Park once again today as they look for a two-game series split against the Green Bay Booyah (5-7).
The Mallards fell to the Booyah last night by a final of 9-3. The Booyah hit three home runs on the night including two two-run shots from Max Wagner (Clemson) and Dalton Pearson (Georgia State) off starter Ryan Lauk (Wagner).
Tonight, the Mallards will send Reagan Klawiter (Madison College) to the mound for his first start with the team. Klawiter made one appearance on the mound and pitched three innings out of the bullpen, giving up two earned runs.
Starting on the mound for the Booyah will be Ben Hart (Dixie State). The left hander is a returner to the Booyah from 2020 and this season has a 4.50 ERA without a win or loss.
Today's game will close out the two-game weekend set with the Booyah with first pitch being scheduled for 4:05 p.m. Then the Mallards will travel to Wisconsin Rapids on Monday before a league-wide off day on Tuesday.
