(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Drew MacIntyre has been recalled to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Drew was assigned to Toledo from Grand Rapids on January 4th. With Toledo this season, MacIntyre has a 7-1-2 record to go with a 2.52 goals against average and a .916 save percentage. MacIntyre, a 2001 selection of the Detroit Red Wings, collected his first Storm shutout on January 29th against Charlotte. Prior to coming to Toledo, Drew had an 8-3-0 record with a 2.53 GAA and a .908 SVP. Former Bedford High School goaltender Jack Kauffman has been added as an emergency backup.
The Toledo Storm returns to the Toledo Sports Arena on February 17th against
the Wheeling Nailers. February 18th features the Alumni Game at 5pm and the
