
Blades make changes to roster

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that the team has activated forward Reggie Berg off the 30-day injured reserve list and has placed forward Kevin Bergin onto the 7-day IR.
Berg returns to the Everblades line-up after missing all but one game this season. The 29-year-old suffered an injury in Florida's first game of the season vs. Las Vegas on Oct. 28. Berg, who is in his sixth season with the Everblades will be in uniform for Florida's game tonight at Pensacola.
As an Everblade, Berg has tallied 228 points (105g, 123a) in 195 regular season games, and has chipped in 39 points in 44 Everblades playoff games. His 228 points is second only Tom Buckley in Everblades all-time history.
In addition to his time with Florida, Berg has seen playing time in the American & International Hockey Leagues with Orlando, Cincinnati and Lowell. During his professional career, Berg has skated in 259 regular season games, scoring 115 goals and tallying 138 assists. Prior to turning pro in the 1999-00 season, Berg spent four seasons playing at the University of Minnesota where he collected 158 points (74g, 84a) in 160 games.
The Everblades place Bergin on the 7-day IR after he suffered an injury in Florida's 4-3 victory over the Idaho Steelheads on February 4. The 24-year-old heads to the IR having picked up 39 points (17g, 22a) in 43 ECHL games this season between Florida and Las Vegas. As an Everblade, Begin has tallied 37 of his points in 39 games.
In a separate move, the Everblades moved forward Greg Black from the 7-day IR to the 30-day IR. Black has one goal and one assist in six games with the Everblades this season.
The Everblades return to action tonight against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 8:05 p.m. from the Pensacola Civic Center. Everblades 2005-06 group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now!
