Lynx to face Checkers tonight at 7:35 pm

The puck drops at 7:35 pm tonight to jumpstart Margaritaville Weekend with the Lynx as the team returns home after a 27 day hiatus to face the Charlotte Checkers.
Back by popular demand, the Lynx will be sporting special jerseys for Margaritaville weekend to be auctioned off during both Friday and Saturday's games. The celebration includes beach music all weekend long, plus the Savannah River Parrotheads will be raffling off a gift basket both nights to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Fans are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their "Parrothead" gear, grass skirts, leis, Hawaiian print shirts, or any other party gear.
Augusta and Charlotte have met five times this year, with the season series tied at 2-2-1 and the Lynx holding a 2-1-0 record against the Checkers at home. The last time the two teams faced off was back on January 6th, when the Lynx crushed Charlotte in a 7-3 win.
