Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (41-31) play Game 3 of a four-game series at Harbor Park against the Norfolk Tides (26-46), whom the Pigs defeated, 2-1, in a three-game home series from May 30 to June 1... With a 3-2 victory last night, the Pigs have won seven of their last nine contests and have started 2-0 on this seven-day, South Division road trip. The Pigs own the second-best record in the IL in June (15-6; Rochester 15-5) and sport a 26-14 record since May 12. At 41-31, the Pigs have set a new high-water mark of 10 G above .500 -- their highest mark in 1,396 days and since 8/25/12 (73-63)... The Tides -- Baltimore's top affiliate -- have lost two in a row after a three-game winning streak. Still, the Tides have also won five of their last eight affairs after a 7-18 skid from May 17 to June 12.
RHP Ben Lively (3-0, 2.70) will start for LHV against RHP Mike Wright (3-4, 6.12 w/ BAL).
First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m... A reminder that Thursday's series finale is scheduled for 12:05 p.m.
