David "The Bullet" Smith will perform his death-defying Human Cannonball performance presented by PSECU immediately following the IronPigs' 7:05 p.m. game on Monday, June 27 against the Columbus Clippers in the most anticipated spectacle in Coca-Cola Park history. Monday is also a Berks Foods Dollar Dog Night featuring $1 hot dogs for the entire game. Tickets for this game can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447) or online at ironpigsbaseball.com/tickets.

"Without a doubt, this is the biggest single promotion we've ever hosted at Coca-Cola Park," exclaimed IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes. "We think you'll have a blast witnessing the most harrowing stunt in Coca-Cola Park history!"

The daredevil Smith has performed over 5,000 cannonball shots during the last two decades and is the highest flying human cannonball in the world today. During his post-game feat on Monday, June 27, he will project himself over 150 feet out of his world-famous 35-foot-long cannon from centerfield towards home plate.

Smith has been in the human cannonball business since he was a youngster. His father, David "Cannonball" Smith, Sr., also dazzled crowds with the feat and established the Guinness world record with a 201-foot shot over two Ferris Wheels.

The younger Smith has astonished audiences throughout the country while also appearing on NBC's "America's Got Talent", CNN, ESPN and other national television outlets.

According to Wikipedia, the first human cannonball was launched in 1877 at the Royal Aquarium in London and the same source sites that the primary safety risk of a human cannonball performance is a safe landing.

Tickets are still available for all upcoming games and are on sale now. Make sure to inquire about, "The Pig Pen", a revolutionary seating area that puts fans directly in front of the players in the left field bullpens and just inches away from the on-field action.
