J.P. Crawford's go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 9th pushed the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (42-31) past the Norfolk Tides (26-47), 2-1 on Wednesday night at Harbor Park in Norfolk.

In the top of the ninth, Taylor Featherston reached on a fielder's choice with one out, stole second, went to third on a throwing error charged to Tides C Audry Perez and scored on Crawford's (2-4, RBI, SB) single to give the Pigs a 2-1 advantage.

RHP Pedro Beato (1.0 IP, 2 H, R, 0 ER, 2 K) was dealt the loss for Norfolk and falls to 3-3 on the year.

RHP Colton Murray (1.0 IP, K) earned the win for the Pigs to even his record at 1-1 and RHP Edward Mujica (1.0 IP, H, K) tossed a scoreless ninth to notch his 17th save of the season.

The IronPigs jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a run in the second as Cedric Hunter reached with a two-out double to right centerfield and later scored on Emmanuel Burriss' (2-4, RBI, SB) RBI single.

Mike Yastrzemski's solo shot off of Pigs starter Ben Lively in the home half of the fourth tied things at one apiece for Norfolk.

Lively (n/d) allowed the one run on three hits to go along with a walk and four strikeouts in 7.0 IP.

Tides starter Mike Wright (n/d) gave up one run on five hits while walking two and fanning three in six innings of work.

In the top of the seventh, a hit by pitch, a walk and a single loaded the bases with one out for the Pigs, but LHP Zach Phillips (1.0 IP, H, BB, 2 K) fanned Andrew Knapp and got Brock Stassi to ground out and end the threat.

The series wraps up on Thursday at 12:05 p.m. as LHP James Russell (2-2, 4.25) heads to the mound for Lehigh Valley against Norfolk LHP Ariel Miranda (1-7, 4.80).
