Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (15-14) play Game 1 of a four-game series at Huntington Park against the West Division leading Columbus Clippers (18-11), owners of the best record in the IL... With a 5-4 win yesterday at PNC Field, the Pigs have started 1-1 on this season-long, nine-game road trip. The Pigs remain 5-7 since their one-day hold on first place on April 24... The Clippers -- the Cleveland's top affiliate -- lost 7-5 yesterday to drop a three-game set at Toledo. The Clippers culminated a nine-game road trip by falling in back-to-back series (2-4) after a season-high, 11-game winning streak from April 21 through May 1.
RHP Jake Thompson (1-3, 4.85) will start for LHV against LHP Ryan Merritt (2-2, 3.30).
First-Pitch tonight is at 6:35 p.m.
