The IronPigs (53-64) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (51-67) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 4-1 loss last night, the Pigs fell to 5-3 on this season-long, 10-game road trip. Still, the Pigs have won 24 of their last 40 affairs and sport the IL's third-best record (31-22) since June 14... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have won a season-high, eight-consecutive games (first seven against Pawtucket) for their longest winning streak since a 2014 season-high, eight-gamer from June 17-24. With a win tonight, the Chiefs will have their first nine-game streak since the 2012 season (June 18-26).. The Pigs took the last series in the match-up, 2-1, from July 24-26 at Coca-Cola Park. They also swept the only series at NBT Bank Stadium this season -- a three-game set May 18-20.

LHP Anthony Vasquez (7-4, 3.87) will start for LHV against RHP Paolo Espino (4-5, 3.09).
