Legends Acquire Pierre Jackson in Trade with Idaho

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired guard Pierre Jackson in a trade with the Idaho Stampede in exchange for the returning player rights to Eric Griffin.

Jackson (5-10, 180, Baylor) was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He spent 31 games with Idaho as a rookie, averaging 29.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.9 steals and earning a spot in the NBA D-League All-Star game. This season, Jackson has played 8 games with the Stampede grabbing 9.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. Jackson spent two seasons at Baylor averaging 16.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.7 steals in 74 games.
