
Bighorns Lead All 48 Minutes

RENO, NV. - With two Bighorns recording a double-double and Erick Green netting 34 points, the Bighorns defeated the Texas Legends 155-127 Thursday night at the Reno Events Center.
Green led the Bighorns with 34 points and five rebounds as David Stockton scored 30 points, grabbed three rebounds and added seven assists. Kadeem Jack recorded his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Ricky Ledo logged a near triple-double with 10 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists while Gani Lawal totaled nine points and 13 rebounds during the Thursday night contest.
Green notched 14 points in the first quarter as Stockton counted 13 points. Jack went 3-3 from the field in the first quarter, scoring 11 points and adding five rebounds. The Bighorns outscored the Legends 46-35 in the first quarter.
During the second quarter, Stockton totaled 12 points and three assists. Green notched four points and three rebounds while Cliff Hammonds notched four points and two assists.
The Bighorns went into the locker room at the half leading the Legends 79-66. Jack had a perfect first half going 5-5 from the field, 1-1 from three-point range and 7-7 from the free throw line.
Green led the Bighorns in the third quarter with 12 points and two rebounds. Hammonds went 3-3 from the field and 3-3 from behind the arc, notching nine points and adding two assists. Reggie Hearn scored seven points and grabbed two rebounds in the quarter as Stockton tallied five points. The Bighorns outscored the Legends 40-32 in the third.
Ricky Ledo notched six points, four rebounds and two assists in the final quarter while Hearn scored six points and added two rebounds. Dwayne Polee, Jr. had six points in the fourth quarter while Akeem Richmond netted four points, grabbed two rebounds and added two assists. The Bighorns led the Legends by 29 points midway through the quarter.
The Bighorns shot 52 percent from the field compared to the Legends shooting 43 percent from the field in the second half.
The Bighorns next travel to Oklahoma City to face The Blue on Thursday, Mar. 10 at 9 a.m.
