Legends Acquire Andre Dawkins in Trade with Sioux Falls

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired returning player rights to guard Andre Dawkins in a trade with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in exchange for guard Toure' Murry. Trade is subject to physicals.
Dawkins (6-4, 206, Duke) has played 20 games in Italy this season averaging 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 27.4 minutes. Last season he played 30 games with Sioux Falls averaging 19.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists and earning a GATORADE NBA Call-Up to the Miami Heat. Dawkins spent four years with the Blue Devils, winning a National Championship his freshman season and averaging 7.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 17.4 minutes in 142 career games.
