Reno Takes Revenge on Texas

RENO, NV - Jamil Wilson and Tu Holloway combined for 68 points Thursday night, but the efforts fell short as the Reno Bighorns posed a 155-127 comeback win on the Texas Legends.

The Bighorns grabbed the lead immediately and never let go. Shooting 56% from outside, the home team took off to an 11-point lead in the first behind 38 total points from Erick Green (14), David Stockton (13), and Kadeem Jack (11). Holloway went 5-of-5 for 13 to lead the Legends' comeback attempt in the second, but the Bighorns maintained a 79-66 advantage going into the locker room.

Reno continued to stretch the gap in the second half, taking their largest lead of the night (29) midway through the fourth. Texas shot 48% on the night, but Reno hit 55% and out-rebounded the Legends 56-41.

Wilson had a game-high 38 points for the Legends while Holloway added 30 and 8 assists. Micheal Eric tabbed another double-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and Patrick Miller came off the bench to add 13 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals.

The Bighorns had six scorers in double-digits led by Green with 34 points, 5 rebounds. Stockton followed closely with 30 points, 7 assists while Jack (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Ricky Ledo (10 points, 12 assists) each added double-doubles.
