The Tigers started off the weekend with their first trip of the season to Moose Jaw to take on the Warriors. It would be the first meeting between the two teams in 657 days and first of four this season.

Moose Jaw opened the scoring at 7:33 of the first period. While on the power play, Atley Calvert found Ryder Korczak in the slot for his fifth of the season. The Tigers kept pressuring the Warriors in the offensive zone and put up 13 shots in the period. Despite being down a man late in the frame, Corson Hopwo evened up the score with a breakaway goal for his fourth of the season. Lukas Svejkovsky picked up the assist on the goal to extend his point streak to four games.

Coming into the game the Tigers power play has been firing on all cylinders. Over the past three games the man advantage has gone 7 for 11. They continued that trend, scoring a go ahead goal just over a minute into the second. Daniel Baker blasted a one timer past the Warriors netminder. Tyler MacKenzie and Lukas Svejkovsky picked up the assists on Baker's second of the season. The Warriors would even up the back and forth game with 2:12 remaining the second. Eric Alarie put home the rebound on Lucas Brenton's shot for his second of the year.

The game remained tied late and looked like it was heading to overtime until Denton Mateychuk made a nice move to score his third of the season. As the clock ticked down the Tigers kept pressing hard for the tying goal. Noah Danielson would tie the game up one more time at 18:30 of the third to secure the Tigers a point and send the game to an extra frame. He battled hard in front of the net to put home the loose puck. Bogdans Hodass and Lukas Svejkovsky picked up the helpers on Danielson's fourth of the season.

The Warriors caught a late break when the Tigers were assessed a too many men penalty late in overtime. Unfortunately, the Warriors were able capitalize with only eight seconds left to win 4-3. Ryder Korczak found Brayden Yager with a backdoor pass that he one timed for his seventh of the year.

Garin Bjorklund (2-4-1-0) got the start in the net for the orange and black. Despite making a number of key saves and stopping 26 of the 30 shots that he faced he picked up the loss.
